Holley, the original manufacturer of High Performance carburetors used on many ‘67-’69 Camaros now offers a restoration service that transforms tired, worn-out O.E.M. muscle car carbs back to their original condition. Besides Holley models, the "Custom Shop" also services Rochester and Carter, two and four barrel models.

The service is outstanding and the results speak for themselves.. Exactly what you might expect from an industry leader... Even before work begins, they photograph the carb for reference to insure that each part unique to your carb remains with your carb...

Here’s what they do...

•Inspect carbs for metal fatigue, cracks and worn-out throttle lever bushings.

•Cadmium Chromating of steel parts for O.E. looks. (See below).

•Black oxidizing of base plates on Rochester 2-BBL carbs.

•Chemical and vibratory cleaning of all carburetor castings.

•Testing of subassemblies-to verify performance before
re-assembly.

•Replace gaskets, diaphragms, power valves and seats.

•Flow-stand testing of all carburetors to confirm correct metering of air/fuel volumes.

About The Dichromating Process...

Dichromating restores stripped-down carburetor parts to their factory-original appearance. This is the exact gold/brown finish which appeared on many standard and performance models over the years.
Upon arrival at the Custom Shop, carburetor castings are immediately entered into a unique tracking system that all but eliminates the chance of a part becoming lost or being returned to the wrong customer. .
After going through a series of extensive cleanings, each casting sports a smooth, even dichromate coating that is indistinguishable from a new carb in every respect, including color.
