| AutoResto™ is a versatile computer software project management program designed to track and maintain all of the details of an automobile restoration project. |
Organization is the key to efficiency and since you can never become too well organized the gang at PRC decided to test the virtues of the new AutoResto™ Automotive restoration project management program for use in our shop.
We installed the software in our computer (a simple enough task) and found that not only did help us track multiple projects saving time, money and reams of cumbersome paperwork, but it also proved to be
a tremendous value to the customer long after the restoration process was over!

Documentation is extremely important to the collector car enthusiast. It has a profound and quantifiable effect on the value of a vehicle. The theory is simple, the more documentation you have the more it increases the value of your car.
When we speak of documentation, we referring not only to the original manufacturers paperwork (window stickers, build sheets, Protect-O-Plate etc.) but also, to all other documentable events that occur over the life of a vehicle up to and including a restoration.
You'll want to be able to prove the degree and quality of the work performed on your car.

AutoResto™ allows you to enter pertinent vehicle data.
By organizing the original vehicle paperwork, in-progress restoration photos, parts lists and breakouts of work describing labor and costs we were able to create a comprehensive vehicle history in an easy to access and understandable format.
Once a vehicle restoration is completed, we produce a standardized
report form that we certify upon a customers request for their records.
We found this document to be extremely beneficial for both the buyer and seller during a sale and for insurance/appraisal purposes. In General, vehicles with documentation of this caliber and degree tend to appraise higher and sell quicker! That's a real benefit...
We like to think of it as one of the best innovations to come along in many years. In fact, we already see it becoming a "standard" within the restoration/collector car industry...
