Pictures now available at www.angelfire.com/az/willishome/my68rsz28.html Also maybe not apparent in ad, Car is driven to work daily, very strong and reliable! Needs paint and body work.
1968 RS Z/28, car is a very original CA car, NOM, Original engine and trans have been replaced. Now has 350 (010 block) with M20. Has 69' 302 heads, original 69 302 intake. Less than 200 miles on complete rebuild. All engine components brand new, from heater core to radiator. Car is very original but I do not have a protecto or build sheet to prove authenticity. It does have correct original tire pressure sticker on glove box door along with all correct Z/28 identifying features. I also have orignal black CA plate for the car with 1968 registration sticker on it.
Car options: Second week Dec 1967 build date, LOS plant Black standard interior (712) Cordovan Maroon paint with White stripes and white vinyl top (N-1) No spoilers Console and Gauge package D55 U17(original and all functioning) Woodgrain dash Original BU Posi rear end Original UH radiator Style trim group Z21 Special interior Z23 RS package Z22 A01 tinted windows C08 vinyl top (white) U63 AM radio Has original spare tire (original polyglas) on original correct (Z/28)coded rally wheel
Too many new parts to list but here are a few: 4 New BFG TA radials on 15X7 rallys New rebuilt front Disc calipers (stainless sleeves) New pads, rotors, hoses, wheel cyls. all brake parts. New interior pieces (carpet, seatcovers, door panels) All new or rebuild engine components
So what does it need? The car runs strong and as far as the drivetrain goes it is done. To be finished the car needs paint and body work, there are a couple small rust areas on front fenders but very solid CA car. Also needs front seat covers put on (have new ones from Classic in box) Needs 1 new accuator for RS lights to function (have new hose kit from Classic) Finally it needs a good home, I have too many projects.
